| Konavle is situated in the
most southern part of Croatia. Moving to the interior, the region is surrounded of high mountains which are in the same time the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The coastline of Konavle is famous for its numerous bays and peninsulas such as Cavtat, Molunat and Prevlaka peninsula. Another characteristic of Konavle is the specific stone architecture and the tradition of handicraft. Because of the long affiliation to the Republic of Dubrovnik the area disposes of a rich and manifold culture. |
